I recently worked on a brand design for Camp Virtual Assistant, and it was such a pleasure working with the owner. I had so much fun working with her and brainstorming design ideas.

“Let me put it this way, whatever I thought I knew about branding, I was mostly wrong, and that’s putting it gently. Arlene was able to skillfully explain to me the process and what it entailed. From helping me to choose my fonts (Header, Primary and Secondary) and explaining the importance of when and where to use each of them, designing the logo and converting the images to different tones (color, duotone, grayscale) and extensions (pdf, png, jpeg, eps).
Adobe Illustrator is her playground! She definitely has fun bringing artwork and designs to life, and it shows!
Arlene regularly asked for feedback throughout the process because she wanted to make sure that I was satisfied. In the end, everything was organized in a zipped folder that was sent to me. Your logo, brand colors, fonts and everything else in one place that is easily accessible.

Things I Can’t Live Without: Mobile Apps
I like technology. It can be very useful and convenient but, I do not depend on it 100%. Why? In spite of the fact that things can get better, they stay the same.
How so? There will always be someone trying to get a leg up on whatever new technology comes around to make things easier and/or safeguard our personal information.
One such form of technology is the mobile app. They’re very useful and convenient, and most of them, most of the time, are very user-friendly. Take, for example, my online banking mobile app. No matter where I am, I can always check my balance, pay my bill, and transfer money to different accounts. 👍🏽
Financial institutions are always striving to find ways to safeguard their customer’s account. I appreciate that, and it makes me feel safe. However, I know that I will still have to be careful no matter what they do, and that is why I’m not 100% dependent on technology. Things sometimes happen and/or fail, so I need to do my part to be safe.
