Something About Nothing

Nike Run Club

I have been using this app for over twelve years now, there was a break in there somewhere, but I relish the inspiration and motivation it provides.

Sometimes, I just listen to some music and other times, I check out a guided run. Guided runs are Nike coaches directing you on your walk/jog/run.

They provide tips on when to speed up, or slow down if you’re feeling winded, what to do before and after a walk, jog, or run. And, make some awesome suggestions on how or what you should be eating or drinking before and after that walk, jog, or run. 🙌🏽

The guided runs are informative, motivational, and fun. There are several different coaches with their own coaching styles, but they’re all excellent. One of the things I like most about the guided runs is that you can take their coaching into your personal and professional life.

One of their mantras is “It’s about running and it’s definitely not about running,” which. in some weird way, makes sense. Sometimes I use a guided run even if I’m just going for a regular walk and need a little inspirational pick me up. 😁
